This workshop seeks to build resiliency and address work-related stressors emerging due to the coronavirus pandemic. Current information on how stress develops and impacts the body will be reviewed along with specific methods and tools for individuals to use in stress alleviation on the job.
Designed for both management and workers, conceptual shifts in leadership are reviewed to inspire implementation of healthy workplace dynamics. The workshop includes a mix of lecture, case studies, discussion, and demonstration to connect both workers and managers to greater resilience in crisis conditions.

Jeanette Zoeckler completed her MPH at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2011 and her PhD in Social Science at Syracuse University in 2017. She develops and implements collaborative public health initiatives to expand the OHCC’s prevention agendas through outreach, education and research. Her public health practice focuses on occupational health inequities. Working together with vulnerable and under-served working people, she seeks comprehensive solutions to raise awareness about hazardous workplace conditions and stimulate the broader social and political change required to protect workers' health.
