Racial Inequity in Health Care

Despite significant advances in health and healthcare in the past century, racial minorities

contributed to persistent health disparities that exist in minority communities in the
nation. The workshop will further examine progress made in addressing health disparities
and the scope and effectiveness of programs to intervene upon the social determinants of
health through a human-rights lens.
