Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) Nursing- 4 hours
Training is focused on the PDGM- a new reimbursement structure affecting the federal home health Prospective Payment System (PPS), effective in January 2020. It emphasizes the applications of the changes in clinical and operational practices of direct care workers. The curriculum, best suited for home health aides, home health nurses, and home health therapists as well as those professionals who support their work, will afford trainees with the background necessary to pursue the operational changes that support care quality while comporting with the new payment paradigm.
