Mental Health First Aid
This training developed by the National Council of Behavioral Health will teach participants to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse. This Mental Health First Aid course is customized for the long-term care workforce and is offered in partnership with NYC Thrive. The course aims to educate participants to identify mental health problems which are more common than heart disease, lung disease and cancer combined.
