Managed Long-Term Care Overview
This course describes why and how healthcare delivery and payment methods are changing, and the intended goals of these changes. Topics include how to improve patient, family and staff satisfaction and communication. Tools such as the AIDET communication tool and the bracketing will be introduced, as well as short-term and long-term stay quality measures. The course also includes an introduction to DSRIP (Delivery System Incentive Payment Program).
