Increasing Staff and Resident Satisfaction (Online)
This course consists of four modules.
Length of Each Module: 1 Hour
Total # of Hours: 4
Module 1. Improving the Resident Experience: This module includes the AIDET communication tool, nonverbal communication, acts of kindness and empathy.
Module 2. Improving the Resident Experience: This module includes reflective listening, open-ended questions, resident education strategies, and addressing communication challenges.
Module 3. Engaging Families as Partners in Resident Care: This module focuses on how family members help residents, barriers and social supports, needs of family members, and communication tips for family engagement.
Module 4. Staff Satisfaction and Resident Outcomes: This module is about relational coordination, bracketing, managing stress, professional boundaries, and wellness practices.
