Enhanced Home Health Aide Training
This training program is designed to equip trainees with additional knowledge and skills to enter the healthcare workforce as a certified HHA in a value-based environment. This is achieved through a two part series. This training includes lessons on:
- Working Effectively with Home Care Clients: Intracultural communications
- Personal Care: Vaccinations and preventive services
- Working with People who are Mentally Ill: Suicide, First Aid Mental Health, depression, distress and loneliness
- Family Spending and Budgeting: Patient Navigator, Social determinations of heath resources
