Cognitive Impairment Program
The goal of this training is to expose participants to the experience of patients with cognitive impairment. Subsequently enrollees will support patients to maximize their functional abilities. The course includes experiential exercises that prepare home care workers to effectively interact with patients who have Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury or other cognitive impairments. Participants will be equipped to identify, report and recognize factors that impact cognition.
